Robert Barrett Obituary
Robert L. Barrett, Jr., age 71, of Chester, Pa. surrendered to the will of the good Lord on July 31, 2014 at Brinton Manor surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Kennett Square, Pa. to the late Robert L. Barrett and Elizabeth Maxwell Barrett and was a graduate of the Kennett Consolidated School and the American Culinary School in New York. Robert was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church in Chester. He was also a member of the Y's Men Club in Chester. Before his retirement, Robert worked as a chef at White Horse Village Senior Living Facility. Survivors: Left to cherish his wonderful memory are his wife Alice J. Barrett, Children: Monica Stokes (Willie), Kevin Barrett, Styles Barrett, Alease Hamilton, April Lewis, Karen Lewis, and Terrance Lewis, siblings: Vanessa Dill, Samuel Thomas, Tony Barrett, Joan Anderson, Mira Anderson, Samantha Hunter, J.C. Maxwell, and John Maxwell, 22 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, special aunt Stella Barrett, host of other relatives and friends. Service: Thursday, August 7, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church, 1100 W. 2nd St., Chester. Viewing: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Interment: private Arrangements: Earl L.
